A resident of Ternopil Oblast in love gave a "foreigner" 38,000 hryvnia: no husband, no money
An acquaintance on the social network ended with a statement to the police.
A resident of the Ternopil region transferred 38,000 hryvnia to a foreigner whom she met on social networks.
The man then disappeared and the victim contacted the police.
This was announced by the police of the Ternopil region.
The victim, a resident of the municipality of Berezhansk, told police that she had met an alleged "US citizen working in a closed facility in Syria" on social media. The couple's communication lasted almost a year.
Subsequently, the "American" asked a resident of the Ternopil region to send him 38,000 hryvnia for a ticket to Ukraine. He argued that he could not withdraw his own funds. After the woman transferred the money to him, the "foreigner" disappeared.
The victim contacted the police. The police are looking for a scammer.
