He is posing as a US Army Reserves in Charlotte, NC. Claims to be from WV, with a house there. States that his dad died when he was 11 in Mexico. His dad’s family didn’t want them so he and his mom moved to Iowa. He states he has had a long term relationship (of 8 years) with his ex who died 2 years ago giving birth to his child.

He did not get as far as asking for anything but did some suspicious that he didn’t have any social media and took these pictures. They are very much “on the gram” type stuff. Thankfully he gave his first name and I found him in here.

Make all of your accounts highly protected. He claims to be over seas with no access to his money or food to eat

I have been talking to someone using the same photos. He uses the person's real name Eduardo Montalvo. He sent me a like on Upward, a Christian dating app. He claims he's looking for someone to marry and is stationed in Albuquerque NM. He wanted to talk outside of the app and made me download telegram. I asked him just to add me on snapchat, but apparently he can because it's forbidden in the military to have social media. I asked him why it was different for him, because I talk to people from Fort bliss and they have social media. He claims they are breaking the rules. I did mentioned that I didn't believe he was real, and asked for proof, he claims to show me his ID but I did a search online about a fake id going around with this guy's face. It's heartbreaking

I always know I'm being catfished the moment they ask me for whatsapp or telegram, especially if they are military.

Luckily he hasn't asked me for any money or anything like that.

Claims to be deployed in Syria, with home being in Seattle, WA.
