This person is still out there. Claims to now work in Special Forces based in Oxfordshire, UK somewhere. Claims to be a Staff Sergeant working US hours. Is apparently 50 years old, lost both his parents aged 5 to a terrible car accident, and was brought up by an uncle. He has no children and was married for 10 years, but she cheated on him with his best friend. I have numerous pictures if anyone is interested, but I don't believe a word he has said to me....apparently his facebook account was hacked....yeah, likely story

"Eric Carl Colton" messaged me about a month and a half ago on POF. His story was very similar to the others I've read in this thread.

He used the email address Ericcolton1969@gmail.com but then asked me to download Google Hangouts so we could chat.

I got suspicious today when he wanted me to Money Gram $750 USD to a "Communications Officer" named "Amos Marvin" in India.

Anyhow, ladies out there... stay safe. Be smart.

I was just contacted by this man on Pof. He has been very forward with me telling me he doesn't want to lose me as he is supposed to be reporting back to his base in a few days. Something just didn't sit right.... He sent me quite a few photos this evening which I promptly reverse searched and found this forum!! He is using the name Peter Wale. He says he was raised in Malta, hence his accent, but moved to Florida with his wife who then cheated on him with his best friend and many neighbors and he is now raising his daughter Sandra alone. He said he came to Fremont, CA on leave to meet a woman who only proceeded to lead him on. I have since reported him on Pof and blocked him. Fortunately, I listened to my instinct and checked him out before getting sucked in any further. He initially requested to text using WhatsApp, which I found odd and called him out on it.... So then he switched to text message but asked for me to text him so he coukd call me. We had a bad connection, so I hung up and called back immediately only to find out he was using a Google voice #. Thank goodness for that spidey sense and me listening to it! Be careful out there ladies!
