Scammers can be very vindictive when the money doesn't arrive and can (and will) cause you some nasty problems. Please take The Enchantress's advice and drop him cold.

And PLEASE don't confront him with what you know about him.

Thank you DH - maybe the name does not suit but i do feel an idiot! How on earth could I be taken in like this!

He has not yet asked for anything but I sense it is coming - I just thought that if I continued as if nothing was wrong - he might follow his apparently routine pattern and then I can at least make others realise that he is such a fraud!

I will not let him know anything about anything I know = in fact he even asked me today if I would speak with him this evening and he does not suspect a thing

I will drop him and just block him form everything

He went to dinner last night with business colleagues and promised to send me pictures of himself wearing suit and tie - I am just holding on until i get those - I suspect that they will be the same as those that have already been posted - that way we will know for sure that he is a scamming sob!

thank you for all your help and advice and you really are a great source of help and comfort - these people need to be stopped - it is emotional assault and at worst fraud!

When posting, please use the reply button rather than the quote button, quoting a section of somebody's post is fine in moderation or to show the particular part you are replying to but certainly quoting entire posts is not necessary and it does make it harder to read along.

A few posts back, one of our Moderators "The Enchantress" said;

"Best advice is to ignore this callous criminal."

Duckhnter went on to back up that advice and I am going to say it again, please stop writing to the scammer, you may inadvertantly tell the scammer something that helps him to improve his scam or you may end up upsetting the scammer to the point where he begins to threaten you. If you spend any time reading around our forums you will see that same advice given time and time again, yes, it does apply to you as well.

Lastly, there are many places around here that suggest you should read our FAQ, your welcome PM and the signature lines of several of our staff for instance, again, that is good advice and i have no doubt that it will help you too, please read it and if you have any questions after reading it dont hesitate to ask

No, that´s an unrelated differrent anonymous Nigerian scammer who, in just one of his many scams and among his many fake profiles, happens to use the same pictures as in this thread in his scam

^^This just said to reinforce "Never warn them!", you´re only alerting other scammers and make them aware of YOU.

Thanks Frumpy - I would never warn him - but just to keep you all up to date and this i found absolutely hysterical - the last communication with Mr Edward Schoenmakers t hat I had was Friday when he informed me that he would be attending a business dinner on the Saturday evening with the partners of another construction project - he mentioned that he would ensure to take a photograph of him with his partners just so that i could see who is working with - lo and behold this afternoon he sends me the picture that he took on Saturday night - thats Saturday 18th June 2011- well I nearly p****d my pants because the picture he sent just happened to be the exact same one that he sent to tennismama - with the carnival queen in it too - before he even sent it I knew the picture he was sending - so he is still at it and i am positive that if i were to respond - which I am not - he would eventually ask me for some money - thanks thanks and thanks again everyone - had it not been for this site - i would have been well and truly scammed by this sob!!!

Well well well luvvly people - this site is invaluable - and yes he has pulled the same stroke as previously - I have not been communicating with him very much at all but I did want to catch the sob at it again because he really is very very good and if it were not for this site - i would have fallen for this and lost a lot of money as well as my respect and dignity.

I received IM messages from him this morning telling me he had a sleepless night and could he talk to me - I asked him what the problem was and this is what he responded with :

I have had the chance to come across this SOB my self recently he said that his name was Edward Harrison, I was lucky and did not send him money. He is now on Match.com as Desiredguy101from Colorado Springs. His email that he is using is koolheartedguy2011@yahoo.com. He said that he was born and raised in Germany, he moved to the states about 4 years ago. He said that he was an engineer and was working in Nigeria as a contractor on an Orphange. He said that his parents died in a car accident and he was divorced because his ex wife cheated on him with his best friend because he made more money. He said that he had an 8 yearold daughter named Vera who's birthday will be July 22. He does have a way words and sucks you in to his life. Like most of you he usedd the same words and promises. He had issues with keeping things straight and info that he gave me was never correct. I asked him for his address in Colorado and he gave me an address to this run down trailer and he kept insisting that he lived in a nice apartment no were close to were he said it was. When I asked questions about Vera and her likes and dilikes he could never answer me. I would ask him personal questions and he would change the subjust. After a few times of talking to him on line he asked for $650 so him and Vera won't be kicked out on the street because of the hotel wanting payment up front. He said that the job was almost done and he would be paid $800,000 from the contract and would pay me back. I was on the computer with him when he supposibly got the call from the hotel manager about 3:00 am his time saying that the manger was going to kick him and Vera out of the hotel. I told him no he kept pushing and pushing until I stopped talking to him. He then stopped asking for the money for several days. We continued to talk for a few more days with all his words that he uses. He asked when I was sending him the money again he provided me the informaion to send it same as everyone else so far from what I have read. When I told him that I wasn't sending him the money he got upset with me and kept emailing me and texting me blaming me. He called once and I did not pick up the phone, he said he loved me and we need to talk about this and to call him back. I have blocked him and reported him to the proper indivuals on the sites. I have not heard from him since.
