I confronted the guy and said he is a bonnified fake....he told me he is not and that he has reported this to the police...they have told him not to set up any social media pages. Whenever he is online and 'chatting' with me he takes a while. Somehow I have managed to get him to reveal his location on whatsapp....he is just outside Kabul, Afghanistan.

I also asked him to video call me...he did for a few seconds and could see his face, I am so confused right now - it is him in the photos'...any advice please?

He told me he was in Portsmouth.
I also saw him on FB dating under the name Dewayne but his profile says he likes to be called Nelson?... weird.

Ladies, he is a scammer, I outed him, please read my OG post.

I also reported him to Action Fraud in UK as part of the Cyber Crime division.

Do not be fooled please and do not give him your address or bank information.

Luckily for me the first red flag was using Google Hangouts!! 2nd was the fake accent on a call via Google hangouts clearly using a voice machine and 3rd was the video call which was stills put together. Said he was on a navy ship in quarter's, strange I said as there is a washing machine behind you, a wine rack and a bay window. Pretty sure they aren't on a navy ship

Met this guy on the Hinge app last weekend - went by the name of Thomas Kyle. 38 years old originally from Brazil but living in the UK. Similar sob story as the other posters. Parents both died in a car crash when we was 18 and had to start living life on his own. Caught his girlfriend cheating on him with his friend 16 months ago and been single ever since.

Said he was in the Royal Navy and currently stationed in Portsmouth, UK. Doesn’t know how long for. Can’t video or voice call due to security reasons. But then could video call because he was down the gym - only lasted one second as was ‘got cut off for security reasons’ but he wanted to ‘prove’ he was real. What I saw on the screen was a still photo of a random guy at the gym.

Then he said he just heard his WiFi was going to get cut off, but they were told they could pay £116 to keep access. Said it would kill him emotionally if he couldn’t talk to me, implying he wasn’t going to pay and that I should.

I blocked him. Then I received a message from another person (Peter) posing as his friend asking why I blocked him. I blocked him too. Reported to Hinge and the Action Fraud Police.

He is now going under the name of Alex Watkins. He says he is Australian and lives in Myola in Victoria. He is a signalman and trainer in the navy at HMAS Cerberus. He has a daughter named Jamie who is 11. He has a sister and his mum also lives in Myola.
I met him on Tinder. He asks for lots of iTunes and steam cards cos he is having issues with his bank account.
He is extremely believable. I chatted with him for 5 months. He is very good at what he does. I will update new.pics I haven't seen anywhere else. He also says he was shot in the leg in a training accident. He will ask for.money to come back from Liberia to be on leave with you. Then he will have surgery on his leg so he can be on medical leave for another 2 months but you will never see him
