I was contacted by a woman who seems like a real person. Talks about meeting me and everything. She says it's hardn for her to send pix because of her phone. She isn't asking me for money, but says her brother "richard" will do a bank transfer. Of course she doesn't have a bank account and wants to use mine. I am ok with it except for the info that richard needs. I figured account number would be enough, but there is a list of things; bank name, account#, routing#, bank address and phone#, my address and phone#, online name, password, 3 security questions and answers. I think that is most of them. So I ask am I being scammed by this woman, her so called brother richard or both? I did get photos of the woman, trying to get a pic of her with my name on a sign.

Hi jcarney - it certainly sounds like they are trying to recruit you either as a mule or to simply drain your bank account because as you know once they have your password and username they have full access to your account. To be sure please post everything you have such as name, pictures, email, phone number so the mods can search and give a more definitive answer. Please know IT IS NOT OKAY do give to anyone your bank information. If you met someone online that has asked you to receive funds or goods on their behalf? Quite simply, this is money laundering and any individual assisting these criminals can be prosecuted and have their whole bank account frozen. A conviction for an offence of money laundering may carry a penalty of up to 20 years imprisonment.

FYI. You are not talking with woman but simply with a gang of West African scammers/males and the youngest with highest voice pitch plays character of the woman.
