Met someone using his pictures under the name of Andrew. Says he is 51. Says he is currently in Italy ( it does match the phone number ) for a project. Says he is into oil rigs. After he had my number he deleted his Meeff profile.

Anyway, we all know what they are like when they "confess their undying love for victims" So I will skip to today, because he had a very strange request. Very fishy and of course I declined. He didn't take it well at all.

I politely declined, because no freaking way would I let a scammer use my phone number for anything and told him to contact WeChat support. A normal person would either think of that themselves or be happy with this advice, but not him. ( Not that I'm surprised, because obviously it ruined whatever scam he was trying to pull. )

So, what I am thinking is the scam. This "business partner" from China will have my phone number. If I would have given my permission to use it to create a WeChat profile. I bet this "business partner" would call me and be like: You owe me money. I feel that would have been the scam or something along those lines. Also, I would never really know his plan for the WeChat profile so maybe he would use the profile to scam more people under my phone number.
