I was contacted on facebook by a Ben Santos (who is using Garrett's photos). Here is the letter that he had sent to me.

In the beginning everything seemed so normal. We were having nice chats for about a month, then the red flags started ringing in my head. I had asked him to explain the connection between the names Garrett and Ben Santos and he couldn't give me an answer. The that is when I went back to the pictures and right clicked on one of the pictures and went to properties and that's when I discovered that the picture came from Focus International Hawaii. After a few more weeks of chatting with this Ben Santos I called Focus International and talked to them about this scam and was told that yes the male models photos were being used without the permission of them and being used in scams from Nigeria.

I then did a search on Facebook and found out that this Ben Santos has 5 different accounts on their. Here is a breakdown of what to search for:

If you do a search for Ben Santos, then click on see more results for Ben Santos, you need to go through all the pictures there and you will see all of his accounts. You will find 3 accounts using the cowboy picture (using the name Ben Santos), 1 account using a picture with a cup of coffee in hand (using the name Santos G Ben), and 1 account with him walking down a dirt road wearing a brown jacket (using the name Ben Santos).

His e-mail account that he is using is: ben_santos0027@yahoo.com

In this case, no need to upload any further photos I think because for our picture search engine scamdigger.com, we need them all only once each and not multiple times. "Garrett" from FocusHawaii is indeed (with no fault of his own!) well-used everywhere on the internet...

If you have ever received an email from this scammer, please post a header, minus your own name and email in it. See Welcome PM how to get it with your email provider. If anything is unclear, plaase ask.

Most important, please ignore the scammer completely. No confrontation, no arguments, no RS-link-sending, best is to say nothing; otherwise he would see his mistakes and he would become a better scammer for his next victims.

Thank you for the information. Will go through my e-mails and see what I can come up with. Like I said, I can't believe all the names and e-mail addresses this guy is using. However I did manage to get one of the girls on his list on facebook to delete him from her friends list. She was very nice and thanked me for letting her know.

Went through some of my old e-mails from a friend of mine and this is the phone number in Africa that Ben Santos had given to her. Not sure if it is still working but as of a couple of months ago he was still texting her.

Been away for a couple of days and I'm glad that I'm back. Found out that our ben santos has been a busy boy but I am one step ahead of him. He still has 147 women that he is trying to scam. I have been busy notifying the women on his friends list and have managed to get 28 women to either drop him or block him completely. As a matter of face I got an e-mail on facebook from one of the girls that dropped him and she said that she had met him on plentyoffish.com. Am doing a search now to try and find out what name he is going under and any other information that I can find on him. Hopefully we can stop this jerk and other like him one of these days.
