Hard to believe these trolls are blindly contacting people on Linked In - it's a business networking site and no one on there says "looking for love" - but this guy blindly added me. I add people often because of my business I have a large network - just figured he wanted to contact me about a program I have, if he'd messaged me first I wouldn't have contacted.

His profile just says M.Elliot - but when you look at it, it's jumble of things that don't go together (so the scammer is not very bright)

And here is the unsolicited private message he sent via Linked In...

Funny thing is, I never "replied" to him or messaged him at all - he just requested to add me.

Deleting him now...just thought everyone should know...

Thanks for merging - I wasn't sure how to look by pictures. It's still funny that he sent that message because he never sent an email before that so not sure what compliments he'd be referring to.

I don't do "personal" stuff on linked in - it's all business there so anyone that sends anything remotely personal there (unless it's a colleague/client I've known for years) gets deleted without hesitation -but this was more than just spam.
