I was first contacted through facebook by a character called Clifford Williams , He gave me a hard luck story and said he needed some money to get out of a situation , i refused then he eventually came clean and said his name was Owen and he was black and lived in Nigeria , we chatted for a few weeks , then he started putting on the pressure over giving him money via gift cards with stories of hunger and ill health , i felt sorry for him and started to give him money , he said he wanted to marry me blah blah , you know the rest !
I have now come to my senses some 2 years later and can't believe how stupid i've been .
He even tried to convince me he was in uk with a fake plane ticket.
