Scammers with pictures of Tony Pankhurst

Today I received a request to accept contact to date Steve Ives on a social site - I googled the picture to see he is really Tony Pankhurst and saw this website about the romance scams. As much as this mature woman would like to meet a lot man in my age group, I will not be scammed so rejected his contact. Ladies, beware, I image search all guys before accepting email or phone contact with them on dating and/or social sites.

My wife's Thai friend just asked me about a guy who contacted her from UK and inexplicably sent her a phone and money in a suitcase.

I googled the pic and it led us here.

Currently going by a name of Camden Martin on facebook.

He has deleted his profile already. He named himself as Darmian, although in Hangouts his name was Brian Harrison. He does not use whatsapp or any other form of app for messages.

He is supposed to be a captain in a ship on his way to Australia, where it suffers a mayor problem and has to head to an island with pirates. Then he pretends to send all his belongings to you, including lots of money...

After sending different screenprints of photos of this actor in diffent sites, he has dissappeared...
