Anyway, I am here because a few weeks ago, I received a friend request on Instagram from this person who claimed to be named Alex Nelson. His name there was AlexNelson887 but I reported the account to Instagram and don't know if whomever took it down or not.
He started messaging me on Wednesday, the 6th. This person told me I was beautiful off the bat; wrote in broken English. Asked if I was God fearing (just like the FAQs points out.) He said he was from Milan, Italy. That he came here when he was 25 after his parents died. He said he had a wife who died of cancer and a son, who is 8 years old, named Bryan. He said he worked for Olympus Platform in New Orleans and was there working since January. When asked where his son was, he said that his son was being watched by a nanny. He also said he was 59 years old.
When I asked for a photo he sent a picture of a person that is not even of him but looks similar to him. When asked to talk via phone- I asked to talk in a live video chat because I knew something was up. I was then asked to go on WhatApps or Hangouts. I made a fake account on Hangouts and then he contacted me there. Again, I asked for reatime video chatting or a picture from in the moment. Nothing. I blocked him on my Instagram account and then I deleted the Hangouts account.
