I have the same guy talk to me in MEEFF he used the user name jihoon and said he was on military and also said sweet words . It’s sad that up to this date still trying to scam women . Be careful ladies . I keep telling him to stop saying so many lovely words because we didn’t know each other but he ignored it he also didn’t want to know much about me unless I told him to talk about something else besides love and trust lol . Also it took me 2 days to discover he’s a scam I’m glad it didn’t went for long .

In conversation on WhatsApp, he starts off with an account under the phone number (475) 297-8683 and then switched within a day to an account under the phone number (209) 423-9624 because the original phone number was going to "expire". Name shows up as Park Hyuk Young.

Says he's currently deployed to Syria on a peacekeeping mission for the South Korean army - been there for 13 months and has 4 more to go. The story I've gotten so far: birth parents were killed in a car accident, adopted by Asian man and American wife. Adoptive mom died of cancer, dad of a heart attack a year later. He moved back to South Korea after high school and enlisted in the army. Claims to live in Busan. Wants to open a business when he gets out of the army in 4 months (he's been in for 11 years already, he says).

Hasn't asked me for money yet, but we'll see. I'll update this post as I learn more!

I had this guy too recently. He messaged me on instagram as Chan Young, instaballerzz44. Same story, parents died at age 3. Foster parents moved him to Miami Florida, his foster parents died of cancer and he moved back to Korea as he had no choice to go to army. He said he was 45 yrs. Deployed to Kabul for peace keeping mission. I’m glad I found one of his photo while browsing TikTok. I asked him about it he said it’s not him. He wanted to chat in Skype. I was looking at comments on the TikTok post about his scam acct and came across a comment that one knew who he was and he was on a show called the soldiers from Korea. He’s a special force. I am watching the show on YouTube and I’m thinking this guy has no clue at all that his pictures are all over, or maybe he does idk. But it was too good to be true. This was my ever first encounter of a scammer. I never respond to messages or friend request of ppl idk. Never again will I respond to anyone. Be safe out there. He’s only sent me one picture with colleagues in it.

This man contacted me before Christmas last year. Exactly same storyline, same set of photographs and those fancy words. It took me a couple weeks to find the "Real" Park Hyeok Gyu on Instagram and "The Soldiers" on YouTube as well.

I thought a lot if I should contact (real) Park Hyeok Gyu and tell him the situation, but I was a chicken. He looks so wealthy and I'm scared that he might not believe me and he might sue me.

But then again, this has been on going for years, how come no one ever contacted real Park Hyeok Gyu, right?

Anyhow, last week I saw someone post a message to real Park Hyeok Gyu about the scammer on his Instagram twice. But, by the look of the messages (especially the second message as on the following day), there's no respond from real Park Hyeok Gyu.

I think real Park Hyeok Gyu doesn't care. He still post his pictures on his Instagram everyday as usual.

There is no doubt that the real Park Hyeok Gyu must receive multiple messages for years and years and still ongoing. As we thought, real Park Hyeok Gyu knows and he doesn't care.

And . . . Yeh . . . He doesn't mind that someone collects his photos and pretends to him. He doesn't care how many women lost their money to the scammer and having a hard time.

After I read your reply, I had a quick look on Youtube again. My thought and my perspective of real Park Hyeok Gyu have changed a lot compared to the first time I saw the video. What's going on with his man?? So he just cares about himself??

I was contacted by a guy on Interpals claiming to be a Korean guy from the military on secret missions. Divorced with a 3 year who lives in Malaysia with ex wife and her new husband. I claims he loves me after talking for 3 weeks even though I told him I was married and can only help with language exchange. That’s made me suspicious ofcourse so I started googling Korean fake dating photos and found him on this post.

This guy with a korean name contacted me out of nowhere on instagram and sent me an appreciation message , he had these 3 photos, one of it I found it here on this post, looking at his account, these 3 photos were posted just 1 hour ago and he had no korean friends in his friends , so I told him it’s suspicious and asked him for a selfie with my name to find his identity! He unfriend me , and his account is private.
