fine. Am also fine here but just that things is not so easy for me
because from time to time our military colleagues are being attacked
by car bombs and insurgents but I thank God for saving my life

Military groups we came across a safe box that contain huge amount of
money that belongs to the revolutionaries, which I believe they are

I have checked with LinkedIn support and they acknowledge the threat of such scams and advise caution. There's nothing else they can do until they can (if it were possible) filter out all bogus applications for LinkedIn membership.
Here's the text of the 2 emails, received from the above; the first (A), yesterday, and the second (B), an hour ago.

Hello Again! am really glad to receive your mail and your details, i just came back from my normal Military base security routine. oh Damn!!! it was a sunny day and a scary day too and i am also lucky to be alive because we can in counter with some Taliban's and i was almost shot with an AK47, i am really sad i lost a friend here at the base he was shot from a long range on the head, some Medical staff had to pull in off the field for check up and before we return back to base he was dead.

I am really scared now and i want to know if i can trust you! please i have something of great importance to share with you. please do get back to me as soon as you can.

Also, one of the photos attached to A, from Evelyn Richard, show a blonde woman soldier, whose tunic bears the name 'Vail', who just so happens to be the writer of letter B. You'd think these cheats would at least be more careful with the grammar and logistics of their scams, but we can be thankful it lessens their chances of success.
