JUSTICE Lateefa Okunnu of the Lagos State High Court, sitting in Ikeja, has convicted and sentenced a Nigerian student in Malaysia, 25 years old Hope Olusegun Aroke, to 24 years imprisonment over N25 million Internet scam, according to information from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Now, wonder if this only happened because it was in Malaysia and not in Nigeria where corruption is less, society is in less deep shit.
N25 million equals to about US$25,000 which is not a huge sum of money and EFCC should be a Nigerian authority. How did they step into the case in Malaysia? Sounds like this was a case of a snitch (?) and we need more of that! - bait their friends with money!
