A kind and savvy woman found this on You tube: youtube.com/watch?v=fonyqs8Exro&feature=em-share_video_user
It's in French, but it's an explanation of how scammers can "SKYPE" with you but use old photos strung together. And it stars our buddy, Rodrigo Perez/Piero Elnino, and a dozen other names. Roughly translated, it explains that the scammer says sweet things, then an emergency pops up, followed by a request for money. You all know the drill. But it's fascinating to see this clip. Notice that Piero (he'll always be Piero to me) is thinner in these clips than he is currently. Recent pix (like with the tie) show a double chin and older man.
The 2nd thing I want to pass on is a website call
http://www.tineye.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. It allows you to run a photo through it and see where and how many times it pops up on the net. So you can find scammers under their OTHER names. Piero's pix show up all over the place with him speaking in Russian, French, English. A boo goes out to OKCupid for changing their picture format so that photos from there won't work.
