In spite of what many dating sites make you believe, it IS possible to run a scam free site. OK, it might not be 100% bullet proof, few scammers may still sneak in, and the personal caution and responsibility should always be in place. But it is possible to eliminate at least 90% of scam, which is already a big deal, because most dating scam originates from the same sources, and some areas and countries specialize in. Most of the dating sites are HEAVILY infested with scammers, and nobody gives a damn, because they only care about number of members and your money. Just keep breeding scammers and spit out so-called "dating sites reviews". Time to name the "heroes", who DO NOT deserve your time and membership dues.
I am planning to make a new section of this site: anti-dating directory, where we will list all dating sites that you SHOULD NOT join, because of scam. This board is just a start.
And of course speaking about bad sites, we should first mention the good ones, which try to do something about the problem.

Been fighting scammers since 2004.Edit as of 3/1/2011: and here comes important and sad part. We used to have 4 other good antiscam sites listed here (NOT affiliated with this one in any way). THEY ALL WENT OUT OF BUSINESS!!! We had to remove the links, as they all point to porn sites now. This just proves that maintaining a scam free site is not rewarding and doesn't pay back. Only having fake sexy blonds with big boobs and handsome engineers pays back, gets attention and drives dating industry forward. Very sad.. So, people, you are on your own now.

Please DO NOT submit scammers on this board. The scammers should be submitted in the appropriate sections. Just tell us your scam-related experiences with the sites. Do they allow a bunch of them to register? Do they remove them? Does anybody there checks the new profiles at all??
