Scammers with pictures of Kevin Rockwood from FH

Ladies - it is obvious some of us are still on sites like Match. I have stated the names of four scammers (Joseph Atile, Steven Massong-mstev123@aol.com, Kort Lammert-gamdal@matchtalk and myspace, Henry Young, as well as others that appear for a few days then claim theirs is a trial subscription) as a warning for others, and since you have had similar experiences, please don't hesitate to tell ALL their names used now or in the past = to help all of us avoid ANY interaction. You might be the reason someone doesn't have their life changed!

I spent quite a bit of time in the past 2 weeks the "content" of various e-mails I received from "Mike Evanosky" - psalmbooks@live.com. I had over 100 e-mails from him (we never did IM messager because I refused). And I did Google several phrases from many of his e-mails. The list of aliases is just so long....from various Google searches. I think this web site keeps a list of all the aliases under the various scam categories, but they also have a description of the typical Nigerian 419 scammer, which was very helpful to me.

In all, I found over 60 connections with different alias names to various Google searches from different e-mails I received. It can be quite exhausting!

Just typing in these words produced 7 other mugu profiles (aliases) on this web site: "I am on the Pearl Qatar off the coast of Dubai. i have 300 men, both skilled and locals. i fly on a chopper at 6 in the morning".

Some of the words that I Googled, took me to profiles of female alias. After a while, I just got tired to searching since the moderators had clearly stated that my scammer was a mugu. Sorry, I am not sure if this answers your question.

Diane - Thank you for your kind words. Actually, I do not think that I have been through that much compared to so many other victims. I have read so many heartbreaking stories of people who have suffered great loss, and even financial ruin.

Google has become my new best friend! It is amazing what we can find there. Now that two weeks have passed, I feel so lucky because my mugu did not get any money from me. I must admit, though, that it was my coworker who discovered my scammer....not me....thru Google of his words from e-mail. I did not want to believe it. Many people were trying to warn me, but I was brainwashed. But the very next day was when he hit me up for $50,000 USD.

@ Boomer... I too have gone through some of my old e-mails and chat that I had printed out. One can find some interesting information if you type in the odd phrases that some of these mugus use.

For example. In the U.S.A we say, "I'm going to go eat dinner now" We do not say "Take my dinner". Of course a lot of these mugus try to fool us into thinking their not from Nigeria by telling us they are from the U.K., Italy, Spain, or that they studied abroad. I should have noticed the warning signs immediately, but chalked up bad spelling to large hands typing on a laptop.

I did a search on "warn out pipe" as my scammer was a "engineer" who fixed WORN out pipe. Certainly one could spell the words associated with their profession.

So, ladies and gents, do a google on anything you think sounds odd. I'm amazed at how much comes up that is repititive.

Lots of "copy & paste" going on over there in Nigeria in those internet cafes. And we would be fools to think that they are even reading our messages to them. One woman I was talking with said that she did some research and found that NONE of her 30 e-mails had ever been opened! I know that many of mine were read (many were not, too) because I received specific replies....this was when they thought they had me perfectly primed to go in for the kill.....MONEY. Still surprises me to read that some ask for money right away....mine waited a month.

Really S**KS that naive22's mugu used a "true story" about a child with cancer to lure her. Then again, obviously there is no level that is too low for these bastards to stoop.

I am sad to report that I was on WAYN site today and someone started chatting me up. Something didn't ring true because his spelling wasn't equivalent to his master's level of degree-level of education.

His name is ZAIN JOHNSON - zain-johnson12 on yahoo.

He appears to be another scamster another confidence trickster.

I don't think Wayn may be aware that they have such a bad problem with scamsters stealing identities and posing as normal people. What do you think?

I'm sick to the stomach with all of this duplicity.

When I asked this Zain, what were his opinions on the British politicians in power at the moment? He just left the computer without a good bye and seemed so scared of replying that he didn't sign off properly. his grammar and spelling weren't what I would expect from a corporate lawyer of Master's level of education and the picture seemed stolen from a model's cataloque --- oh dear.....
